Cost savings - New semi-phased laser technology allows LGS's Leica Scan Station 2 to record a single point in a matter of nanoseconds, with a result of 50,000 points a second. And that adds up to COMPLETE site survey in a fraction of time to traditional survey methods.
Accuracy - With the Scan Station 2, LGS can place every single point in a scan to an accuracy of less than 6 millmeters.
Completeness - A major advantage of High Definition Survey scanning is the level complete site recordation. EVERYTHING in viewable range is data. Which means much less need for multiple site visits for re-shoots, additional shoots, or investigation. With coordinated digital photograhs with the data, everything you need is at your fingertips.
Workability - All data is fully functional within any CAD or Building Information Modeling environment, and can be easily coordinated with needed location dataset.
